Chef Hans Hoffman was born and raised in Keswick, Virginia. His formal culinary training came from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. While living in California, Chef Hans worked at the 4 star restaurant Enrico’s, as their Chef De Cuisine. Chef Hans decided to return to Virginia and take advantage of his formal culinary education and talent by working under some of Virginia’s finest chefs. He was Sous Chef at Hot Cakes in Charlottesville and then Executive Chef at The Byers Street Bistro before finding his new home here at Downtown at the Clock Tower. He has also brought invaluable vision and experience to a growing and ever evolving new entity in Staunton.
Together, these two Chefs are dedicated to providing their customers with a flavorful & quality driven experience at moderate prices in a fun and relaxing environment for all ages. They strive to use the finest cuts of meats and the freshest of vegetables to create our menu that is made from scratch daily. Both Chefs, Chris Hollinger and Hans Hoffman would love the opportunity to share their food knowledge and diverse talents with you.
